Four ice rinks are open in Zakopane in the 2013/2014 season. Skate rentals are available for everyone. Not all rentals have helmets, so you should get your own helmet before going to the ice rink. The entrance fee to the ice rink is 7 – 10 PLN per hour, the cost of renting skates is similar.
ICE RINKS IN ZAKOPANE:
1. TATRA ICE – two new ice rinks conveniently located in the very center of Zakopane – one at the height of the upper entrance to Krupowki street, opposite the PKO BP Bank, and the other near the intersection of two streets – “ul. Kościuszki” and “Al. 3go Maja”. At both ice rinks, there are skate rentals.

2. ICE TRACK and Central Sports Center ice skating rink: a new, full-size ice track on which world-class speed ice skating competitions take place. During sports training, only the slide located on the square in the middle of the track is made available to amateurs. During periods when no events are planned, riders can enjoy the ride around the entire, usually well-prepared track. An additional attraction is the picturesque location of the ice rink, away from the hustle and bustle.

3. DOMINO ice rink in the center – a small ice rink located at the foot of the Harenda ski slopes, right next to the primary school. The immediate vicinity of the ski slopes creates a pleasant, sporty atmosphere.

4. The ice rink in the center of family recreation on Harenda – niewielkie lodowisko położone u stóp stoków narciarskich Harenda, tuż przy szkole podstawowej. Bezpośrednie sąsiedztwo stoków narciarskich sprawia, że panuje tu przyjemna, sportowa atmosfera.
